After Market Plenum

Ive heard so many stories about aftermarket plenum frm plazmaman hypertune etc, and after upgrading my turbo to a VG30 highflow, i was wondering if it was worth investing in a aftermarket plenum.

When should one buy one and do they actually make results?

Upgrade mate:

1) spools quicker

2) reduces intercooler piping on an r33.

Not worth the expense unless it's a really high power application or you need bonnet clearance (such is my case).

We proved that the standard plenum/throttlebody is good for just under 500rwhp before it became a restriction.

You will also lose low down torque with the significantly shorter runners, but will flow better in the higher revs.

not on your setup. Unless your after ease of servicing and a pretty bay.

agree with trent here.... until you have a good 350 rwkw there's not much point unless its a looks thing

and then there are the people (like me) that have made over 350rwkw on the stocker with as good response as anyone else

sooooooooooo not really worth it, its more for looks and convenience.

well $1000+ for looks and convenience is a bit overpriced.

ill stick with the stock one.
