ELMOHASA33
idont know if it works the same in vic but in nsw you can get an exsemtion to allow you to drive a turbo costs $75 dollars and one dam good excuse. correct me if im wrong but i thought it was the same rules for l plates. my addvise get rid of it before it looks any worse "and it will driven by a p plater" buy somthing else to thrash until you get your blacks. now thats been said dont take any of this personal but even if you didnt mention the L plates most of us would have guesst your on your Ps or Ls cause you got a lot to learn. oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh dddddddaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmm thats funny. boiracer
does anyone else find it funny that you can drive anything you like to learn in?? but once your liscenced to drive you cant anymore, wouldnt it make sense to have L plate rules the same as P plates? Benzino33
does anyone else find it funny that you can drive anything you like to learn in?? but once your liscenced to drive you cant anymore, wouldnt it make sense to have L plate rules the same as P plates? yeah i agree, I find it hard to see L platers driving their parents v8's and M3's wen all i had to practice on was the racv Corolla lol. I think restrictions should be put on L platers as well, coz if kids are allowed to drive high powered cars, they'll want fast cars on their P's. Either that or they'll wanna go fast. Maybe thats one way the hooning trend starts.. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/269648-newbie-with-an-r33/page/2/#findComment-4614562 Share on other sites

KR4-GTR
Yeah i'm only on my L's at the moment. Had a bit of troubles being able to go for my licence. I can go for my p's now but why do that when i wouldn't be able to drive my baby? I'll just stick with my L's for the moment. Until i can take out the turbo i guess. my girlfriend got the turbo taken off her 25t about 3 years ago for the same reason. took it to a few mechanics and majority of them just laughed and said it was not possible, but obviously they didnt know ****. anyway, a few parts were simply replaced with those necessary off a na engine and a few pipes were blocked. ran ritch as a bitch while it was off but its back on now with no problems. cost about 800 to take it off and 800 to put it back on - got the work done at hills motorsports in sydney. when shopping for a na, we only went down the path of buying a turbo car because we got the car so cheap that it would be stupid not to do it! it sucks you've driven it before hand though, cos now you'll know what your missing over the next few years! on the other hand, it will give you time to learn to drive properly before you put yourself unsupervised behind the wheel of what litereally is a weapon. if i had my car when i was on my p's i probably wouldnt be here tonight writing this message. i know it may suck for you now, i've experienced it first hand aswell - but one day i gurantee you'll see that taking access to high performance cars off the kids of today is a ****ing awesome move on the governments behalf. bozodos
Relocate the turbo to the boot and put the piping through the car is OBVIOUSLY the smartest option, come on guys ;p Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/269648-newbie-with-an-r33/page/2/#findComment-4625500 Share on other sites
