Windows 2k is good compared to 98 but XP is better, faster & more stable.

I've ran Win2k before what is the problem?

my cuz had 2k and it always crashed. He told me not to get it because he never got anything done on it and it was really horrible to have.

Dont know if its the same for there but, this is just what I know.

W2K is da bomb - I give it heaps of crap all day long and my PC never crashes .... but when I had XP uuuuuuurrrrrrggggghhhhh it is a bloody pig if you ever want to change hardware devices and/or drivers!!!

I've never had the 2k myself but, I've heard the worse of it all. All I know is that I have a virus. (my compu)

XP handles crashes a lot better than 2k.

After all XP is basically 2k with a few improvements. Hence why u use 2k drivers on xp os's.

Hi, thanks for the replies. My problem is based around Windows 2000 Pro and a UU net connection. Pretty specific, only someone with the same setup can be of some assistance.

You could always ring UU nets help desk, thats what they are there for.
