Actually the one fitted on to Dean's car is a TR43i and the one on yours is a older version of TR43. The "i" model is a very different turbo compare to the standard. They are run on bigger .63 rear with lot bigger internals.

ah fair enough. well, that was the only thing I noticed so far.

yeh i had same issue, just get some1 u know to weld, or take it to an exhaust shop, or kkr dumps fit the same and u can buy those brand new.

I was aiming for the 250 mark.. ill be impressed if u get there... ive got all the supporting mods, got 230rwkw... torque and response was massive, but I think theres a bit of wastegate creap...

Im getting my tr43i turbo next week from hypergear just confirm so the kkr dumps that are sold will fit on these turbos?

ive heard the KKR dump pipes sometimes don't fit 100%, but should be pretty close.

Just an update also, have been driving my car around all weekend now with the new turbo and I couldn't be happier with the performance. As I have said previously, a bit of lag, but after it hits about 3500 revs the car launches and pulls like crazy. Sounds great as well. I am only running 10psi for now as well.

I can't wait until I get my tune done, I think the experience will be so much better after that also.

So far I can definately recommend the hypergear tr43i, just get it installed somewhere else or do it yourself.

ohh ok , what did you do in regards to dump pipe modify your existing one or buy a new 1 and if you did where from? Im wanting to modify my jjr bellmouth 3inch dump but the problem the pipe is flattened out at the end and no longer circle so it could be welded onto the stock exhust flange
