Stupid Question Re: M35

Probably stupid question. What exactly does the economy button do on the m35. I figured it reduced the aircon's power demand somehow.

Like I said, stupid question, but being stupid is bugging me a bit.

yeah it allows the aircon temperature to fluctuate a little more that non-economy mode. thus apparently requiring less fuel. mine lives on economy if i have aircon on

the AC button is also ECON. press it again to turn economy on or off. it will show up on the AC panel

Like I said, stupid question, but being stupid is bugging me a bit.

In normal mode the compressor is constantly working hence using more power etc. . . .

In Eco mode the compressor kicks on and off to fluctuate the temperature, hence using less power less often rather than a contstant "ON" state.

actually the compressor kicks on and off no matter what mode its in - assuming AC is on. like i explained, the temperature can fluctuate further thus using the compressor less and in turn saving fuel.

sweet, cheers everybody. but the preffered answer would've been "dude, you turn economy off and get 20 kws more power".

Oh well. Better just get an exhaust. C.E.S. maybe?
