In my car, the grey plastic trim around the window switches, centre console, and guage pod is quite sticky in hot weather.

Is this common in R34's, or has the previous owner re-painted them with a poor quality paint?

Thanks.

Lol, yes this is extremely common, do a search for "shitty R34 interior" or something along those lines, there is a nice big thread on how to re-spray your interior trim, centre console, window controls, a fair few people have done it including myself, and is quite a simple DIY job

infact because im so bored and feeling a little nice today i found the link for you

How to re-spray shitty series 1 r34 interior plastics

Thanks, you're such a nice bloke. Looks like now I've got my weekend filled with fun! Goodbye tacky paint.

no worries, wont take you all weekend, do it in the evening one night, finish the spraying and leave it to dry overnight, then re-fit it in the morning, that leaves all of that day and the following day after re-fitting to do more work on the car!
