Running Factory Bov To Atmos

im making up a 3 inch aluminium intake pipe for my car but im still running standard bov, instead of getting a nipple welding up into the intake "to plumb it back up" can i just cut back the plumb back black pipe and hide it/make it stealth but still cruise around like its a "legal plumb back"????

if its not venting back into the intake pipe its basically an atmo bov

but it will sound shit lol

Just get a proper atmo bov or get the nipple welded and plumb it back

thanks for the advice, im just gonna plumb it to a secluded spot in my engine bay, cant be fudged getting a nipple welding onto intake pipe, if theres no problems with doing it then may aswell not bother

what can i run that is aftermarket that doesnt make heaps of noise but isnt plumback, coz getting a nipple put into my intake is going to be a mission

Tap a nipple (coz the chicks dig it) instead of welding one on.

Add rubber o ring or sealant and tighten...

You'll need..

Threaded nipple

o ring and/or thread sealant

Thread tapper/tap.

Done.

how big does the nipple need to be, same size as the nipple coming off the bov???

If your making an intake pipe surely you can work out plumbing your bov back into it.

yeah that is true, just thought i could get around this. no worries i'll sort something out, dont really wanna have to go aftermarket bov coz i hate the whole fully sick bov sound bulltwang
