Injectors & Ecu

I know that if I was to upgrade my injectors to aftermarket items I would need some kind of aftermarket ECU to make the engine run... Would this still be the case if I upgraded using something like sr20det injectors? Would the standard ECU work with these or is a new ecu or piggy back ecu needed for these aswell?

I have no idea what cc the stock injectors are, if say theyre 440cc, the stock ECU will keep thinking that it has 440cc injectors in there, no matter if you go bigger injectors (run extremely rich) or small injectors (run extremely lean).. I would look into getting a PFC, or getting a Z32 ecu and the Nistune daughterboard installed as (probably won't keep VCT with this option)

Going to SR20DET injectors is not really an upgrade unless you put in the S15 ones. And yes, you will need an ECU or equivalent to adjust the fuel mapping to suit the larger injectors.
