Why even bother asking for advice?

It's obvious your team of "professionals" can help you lighten your wallet.

If you want I'll do the work on your car - we'll start with an RB20DE head add a 30 bottom end and a T88 - using the standard computer we should make about 1,200 rwkw, easy should need a full rebuild maybe just a degreasing...

The standard RB20 gearbox and clutch should hold up for a minute or two, so don't worry too much about that we can always add a shortshifter.

Just deposit the $$ in my account and it should be done by 5pm. Trust me I say I'm a professional.

Wouldn't the whole 30psi on C16 fuel thing to get 500rwkw really negate the car as a viable streeter? I can only imagine the lag lol.

You should probably talk more to a reputable engine builder and state that you want 500rwkw etc (im hoping it's not the same one who supported you getting a supercharger lol), they should be able to give you a ballpark quote, I imagine it will be insanely expensive too.

IIRC the T51R is $2600 as a bare turbo in the Garrett version or about $4000 for the HKS version through Nengun.

Spot on. Lag monster! lol. If it's only going between the dyno and the car hole then I guess it doesn't matter. I bet that's not exactly the case though.

Id say most likely not, shes probably changed her mind again.

I used to know a girl like this, good thing I got the f**k outta there. Now shes in deep depression, failed uni, dropped out and trying to do all sorts of bad things to herself to get attention LOL.

Well she does ask for advice but then bangs on about her engine builder and mechanic say this and that etc etc etc. While a forum may not be the be all and end all of advice, surely looking at examples of what other people have done to reach that sort of power figure must be indicative of the work/money involved.

The other thing is I don't like the idea of someone going from a N/A to 500RWKW :S

I'm with you here man.

I've been monitoring this from post one and I'm surprised to see the comments go this far. I don't know whether the Mod is on holiday or not but if people were sandbagging an ethnic group or a religious faction, this would have come to a halt pretty damn quick.

It's getting as bad as NissanSilvia.com with their flaming and abusive tendencies towards newbies asking first time questions. They think they're better than others because they have a bit of experience.

Guys, so what if she's going to be making a big financial mistake. It's her money and if she loses a shitload, then it's her fault for not taking the advice of the knowledgeable people giving it.

I'm sure there's a few who have gone the wrong way with a modification and paid the price for the direction that they took, but you learn from that mistake, pick yourself up and stride forward.

If a guy was to do the same thing and asked for advice I'm sure that the pathetic remarks made by some in this thread would not have come to bear.

You're no better than some bigot calling an Asian a gook and there are many of them on this site, go ahead and try, see how far that comment gets you.

I pity the girl. This is not the sort of message we should be sending out in this day and age.

You can shoot me down for making my comments, but in the end I know I'm a better person for accepting the girl for a human being, not as my own personal dart board.

we aren't being sexist in this thread (alright i may have been slightly, but i was more being analytical as to why some girls do things like this. some guys do similar things for similar reasons though). we aren't picking on her because she is a girl, we are picking on her because she is stupid. here is a very simple explaination of this thread:

It sounds more to me like a bunch of dudes trying to take this woman for a ride because she is a woman (and don't bullshit around here, mechanics and car dealers do this ALL the time), us trying to give helpful advice and then being told we're sexist for it!!!

Most of the replies were seriously trying to help this girl out, though tbh, if chick's didnt want the attention, they wouldn't have a username like miss r34 which makes it bleedingly obvious to all and sundry that they are women.

ps there are no women on the internet. fact.

Oh and one other thing, it's not like shes researched anything thoroughly in the first place i mean come on, a N/A R34 and a T51R?! 500rwkw!? Of course that is going to garner criticism, especially when the overwhelming response of DONT DO IT ITS FOLLY is ignored.
