First one sounds like your clutch slipping... could be on its way out?

But I'm not sure if that would cause the vibrating?

Both problems together could indicate gearbox issues... maybe... I had a friend with an MX6 who's gearbox blew randomly one day without warning, he couldn't engage gears easily, but when he did his car clunked and rattled while attempting to drive.

Hey imperio, did you get your car looked at, i would be looking at the clutch, and then the gear box. was there a smell from the car, did the shift into first feel normal

or did it feel really loose?

yeah i went to get it checked today.. mechanic took it for a short drive.. car drives normal but the mechanic told me most probably needs an oil change. i did notice a strong smell from the car and sometimes couldnt engage into gears smoothly...

hows the road condition over your area luke? any flooding? my brake pads should be arriving soon and will pop by your place soon.

email replied to. Sorry, was out fitting an engine tonight and only just got back.

The transmission (or gearbox) oil will not cause the problem you are experiencing. Smell, vibration on take-off, slipping when taking off are all signs of a worn clutch. It may not be this but I would still suggest this is your problem. How did they test your clutch? It is also possible you have a sticking clutch cylinder but very unlikely. Would be interested to see how this one pans out as it doesn't sound like your every day sort of problem.
