i'm with Shannons

they were cheaper by far, full comp for 1600 insured for 13500 was cheaper but i added 3k, they never asked about garage (i have one anyway). They also said the market value was 18500, does this sound right? 96 S2 R33 GTS-t

I've been with JC for my last 3 cars incl. my current R34 and when renewing my insurance they wanted to drop the agreed value $2k or so and I told them not good enough, so I got a call back and they were happy to leave it at the previous insured value ($22k iirc) because I've been with them for a while (and even though I made a big claim on a previous car) so I'm pretty happy with JC, they haven't screwed me over *yet*.

I rang them and told them if there going to drop the agreed value then i will go elsewhere, they said there was nothing they could do about it.

That sounds way too high, if my S1 has a market value of $12500 i cant see a S2 being $6000 more expensive.

The hunt continues...

I've just applied to Famous for a quote.

Can't say I like the sound of Just Cars low market values and mega excesses though... They're premium came out nicely at $1250 or so though.

Market value of my 1999 R34 GTT through LSV is $26k (down from $30k)

hm just spoke to shannons and they wanted almost $1,000 MORE than JC ... and JC have just upped my premium a couple hundred to $1900 and lowered agreed value $2k at the same time (to 23k)

Looks like there's no one that can beat JC .. hopefully when I turn 30 next year maybe they take some pitty on this old fool and give me a better rate than this :)

im with shannons have been the last 3 yrs . i pay under a grand a yr series 1 r33 agreed value at 18 g and 500 bucks exess if it gets stolen . the joys of been a old fart lower premuins

i have never had to claim with them so i cant comment on that side of things i pay monthly im rapt with them so far ..

oh they are a bunch of 2 faced scammers, cynically feeding off their go-ggo image.

try a claim with them (up until about 12-18 months ago things were great). now days they have been taken over by suncorp, standards and attitudes in management have changed...and we are about to lodge our complaint with the industry ombudsman.

I'm sure Kel will be happy to elabourate though
