one other question. Does anyone think nissan would release a GTST model based on the GTR platform? They obviously arent going to do it with the V35. Im sure a lot cheaper rear wheel drive and maybe a little simpler engine built with the GTR platform would be a fair bit cheaper. Maybe it would effect 350Z sales though.

It was a good time in the early to mid 90's. GTR, GTST, Silvia, 300zx all in the nissan stable. Look now, even in japan the nissan cars all look a little dull except for the 350Z.

In answer to everyone's GTS-T questions, there's the G35 Sports Coupe. and that's aboot it...

Porsche 996 for me is the ulitmate car (if you get to drive one you'll know what i mean) that's a bargain, even at 300-large. I know the guy who wrote the Porsche vs GT-R article and he's owned some of the toughest GT-Rs and Soarers in Oz and that car left a big impression.

The R32 was $110,000 in 1990 when it first landed here. Nissan Oz got burnt by how long it took to sell the last batch of the original 100 (just like most Ltd. Edition cars sold here).

We'll see the R35/V35/next GT-R out here as the number of GT-Rs we privately import is sooo big it's earned the ire of Nissan Intnl. who want a slice of that action. It's getting sold everywhere from here to USA to UK to France to Germany

ive been in a G35 sedan (the Skyline is branded as the Infiniti G35 in the USA) as it was fanged around a bit.

It goes alright but the sedan is a bit heavy for its own good.

The coupe is sexy and I would take it over the 350Z since its a Skyline. I would change the grill though.

I did, and those Concept 2001 pics are... well, 2 years old.

Why are a few people typing "V35/R35"?

It`s V35... thats what Nissan calls that platform. There is no possibility of an R35 ok? And as for an "R"35 GT-R, Nissan is making the GT-R on the V35 platform, so you can guess they`re gonna come up with something like "BNV35" GT-R or something.

The "RB" series of straight sixes are gone. Please don`t perpetuate the "R35" thing, I tell my Japanese mates about it and they can`t understand how people can get it wrong, when it`s so easy to click your mouse a few times to see the V35 spec sheet.

Not known him that long, met him through work. Only know of the GT-Rs through what workmates have told me (was told he's owned a few and didn't know about any other Soarers - how much did he get for the 300+rwkW TT one?).

I DO know he's now got a Bentley (did he fit the neons to that, or the XR6T?) that he bought in Japan while he was over there doing the V35 thang.

    • I'm selling my brand new, in the box, never used Hypergear ATR45 - and I had some additions I paid for a few yrs back when I purchased it. Never ended up having the rest of the money to add all the mods at once, so I just ended up slowly selling each part. I originally had it internally gated, with the dump pipe, however I found it was incompatible with what I was going to use it for, so I contacted (I think Ken) from Hypergear, and he and I messaged back and forth & he got me to ship the turbo back, where they modified it & made it externally gated, and gave me the 5 bolt dump pipe attachment for custom welding. (Photos below) This turbo like I said has never touched the inside of an engine bay, it's completely brand new, never used, been sitting in the same box it arrived in, covered in plastic & all. Below are the photos of it: And while the guys at Hypergear were making it in-shop, they sent me some photos of the process: I'm looking at selling this just because I'm in need of the money right now, and don't have plans on modifying the 34 anytime soon - and from reviews & peformance sheets, this turbo had amazing results back when I was researching. The turbo was purchased in 2018 for $1.9k, with the mods I got added on. Looking at the website now, for the same turbo they sell (ATR45SAT), with the current addons it adds up to $1830 for the turbo Current addons included: - Bolted dump adaptor - Ball bearing CHRA - Braided oil feeding line So I'm looking to possibly sell it for around $1800, with shipping included in that 1.8k, It cost me around $120 to ship - so yeah thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone was interested in purchasing. Cheers!
