R32 Random Part Identification

looked at an R32 for sale today - couple of things were puzzling....

anyone know what this bracket - in the centre - is for? and yes, there is another the same randomly cable tied to the right of it also.

also, what this wire is for - has been butchered. located in the loom just in front of the stock airbox, blue with a red stripe.

the top pic is for the o2 sensor cable i pulled my mates one off the other day its all just rubbish just take off the heat sheild you dont need it but the bracket on the right of it im not sure about its to make sure your o2 cable does not melt on to the the heat sheild not to sure about the bottom pick cheers mate

thanks. figured out the o2 sensor bracket. even found a part number for it

no one knows what the cut wire is for yet....
