Hi all,

Since fitting new suspension i have noticed the ABS starts kicking in alot earlier.

This is very scary sometimes because the car pulls up alot quicker before ABS starts to kick in. Once the ABS starts doing its thing it feels the car takes forever to pull up.

I would like to disable the ABS if i can? Fuse or something?

(The car has a Project Mu rotors and pads)

Doesnt seem to make a difference. I apply force gradually, then as i need to brake a bit harder the ABS kicks in and im at its mercy.

The confidence just goes right out the window, as im not sure if the car will pull up when i want it to.

Since the ABS is designed to kick in when there is a loss of traction on any wheel, perhaps your tyres are letting you down. I found when I did my suspension it seemed to do the same as yours. When I went to a better tyre it went back to normal. It is important for me because on track days I brake with full peddle pressure till the ABS does all the work. I'm amazed the ABS hasn't been worn out.
