Hi peep's,

Newbie to the forum, more or less just woundering if anyone could provide me with any information about the car? (That is if anyone knows about the car)

Whether it was a previous ride on the forum, mods, etc.

I know its an auto which is ideal for me and my partner as she does not have a manual lisence.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

D.

Yeh looks like a nice clean gt-t has done quite a few k's for an import, wheels are te37's i think they are alright, and it has side and rear nismo kit. Doesnt look like its been touched at all bud other than the exhaust, probs a cat back.

ahahha i didnt even read the above post... what he said

Fuel economy all depends on how you drive, services etc...

All being well and babying it, 400-500km/tank? - possibly more basing this on my car which is more thirsty.. I got 400km from the tank, no gear changes above 4k lol. (R34 owners shed some light?)

You'd want the timing belt to have been done with those kms too... Getting that done on my car is costing me 1.2k :)

Looks good mate! I'm a fan of TE37's mainly when they concave in :P but the car looks good!

Should be able to drop the price a little on it atleast (It IS an auto... I got my 34gtt manual 65000km for 19990, and gf got her manual 34gtt that's done 102000km's for same price)

So yeah, I'd say give it a go! test drive it :) and fuel economy should be good as long as your not heavy footed haha

Cheers for that.

Yeah kms and being an auto are certainly negatives when it comes to selling a skyline, so hope that can work to our advantage.

Could I ask about the engine bay pictures, does anyone think it would have any internal mods?

We are hoping for just stock with the obvious exhaust upgrades.

Also any R34 GT-T owners what would the fuel economy be to a tank, have to convince the mrs!

Engine bay is complete stock, no pod filter, no BOV, everything looks shiny and factory

not too sure on the economy for the auto... uhm there's 2 dif economy types... if your babying the car everywhere or if your flooring the car  and then you get the avg if you do both haha

but yer as one guy mentioned 400-500km to a tank? ish? but also remember u gotta fill it with premium (bp ultimate, caltex vortex or whatever it is etc)

but so worth it, plus i imagine she might have fun driving it

Definately!

The way I see it, we would rather have a auto turbo skyline than an integra (no disrespect to any integra owners).

Just rang up about getting an insurance quote from RAC and the fcukers dont insure them!

So my next question is are these things difficult to insure??

Both me and my partner have full no claims bonuses etc and are over the age of 26 but under 30  so it's more of the car that would be an issue.

Any comments on who to use?

I was told no by HBF, but mine has a boost controller. RAC also won't do series 1 34s. Your best bet will be justcar/shannons/famous.

Fuel economy can be anywhere from 9-13L/100km depending on how you drive it. Mine's normally around 9-10 but I drive like a nanna.

If you are looking for something similar with lower km and a shopping trolley spoiler PM me, mine's for sale

There is a car at Driveaway Auto's in Maddington on Albany Highway (down from Range Ford) which is a yard solely owned by Albert and Jim Balducci who's names people might recognise.

It is a 1998, R34, Turbo, Tiptronic, Silver with 72000km’s and in mint condition, they are offering 1 year AWN EXTREME warranty and priced it at $16990. Being a new freshly import that was just complied and is registered it has to be worth a look.

I have an image but unable to post it, Albert's email or phone 9493 0155 if of interest.
