Hello,I am a very keen honda fan and all i want before the new year is a CTR 01\05 model hatch.

Just would like to know how hard it is to comply them and what the costs will be.

I'm driving one as my daily. Lots of fun, very quick through the hills, use virtually no fuel whatsoever, weird gearknob position is brilliant to use, need to change gears a lot to keep them on the boil, like living with a kid with ADHD.

I think i will just stick to the orignal plan of geting one imported.

Are they easy to comply.?

I was told by a import yard selling a CTR that they were the only company that comply them i QLD.

Two workshops in NSW, 3 in Qld, 3 in Vic and 1 in WA.

shogun, autoterminal do them (not sure who the third is until I look it up.)

Forgot to mention, the turning circle is ridiculously large in them too. You could do tighter turns in a bus. Very few criticisms apart from that one.

I've owned one and can only recommend them - fantastic little car, loads of fun, great gear, great handling, great sound and not as hardcore as my previous Integra Type R

Yes, although there were a few that came into Vic - they were "rebuilt" using a loophole the Vic govt had going for a while, but be warned, they can't be registered anywhere else apart from Victoria.

Hey Toda,

Compliance is a federal law not a state law so it doesnt matter where you get the compliance done.

We currently have 27 models that we do comply, however the Civic EP3 is one of the only ones we dont do so if you were willing to bring in a test car we would comply it for free for you.

hmm, I could be tempted to give you a test car. I'm looking to grab one soon and not in too much of a hurry to have it on road.
