Vi-pec Ecu

hey guys

just wanna know everyones feedback who has one..

im getting one installed in 2 weeks in my r33 which only has fmic and c/b exhaust..

would be great if someone would take me for a ride to see what they are like.. prefferably with similar mods to mine to see power gain etc!!

i dont think you will see huge power gains

but the car will definitely feel nicer to drive after a decent tune, the factory ecus run rich because its safer for the engine

you will probably also notice better fuel economy

well my car is currently pushing out 240hp

i was told that the vipec should push it up around 300hp?

well when i got mine installed + tune it made a big difference, i have afew more mods so i cant really tell ya how it will preform

but u will feel a difference.

vipec has inbuilt boost control.. so it will be running 1bar i'd say

its going to take a few more mods for the 300rwhp

260 would be a nice number after the ecu tune

most definately wont hit genuine 300rwhp on a fmic and cat back even with a vipec

get a dump/front while your doing it, cheap power

then you should hit 260-280 and most people run stock turbos on 0.8 bar/11-12psi

my opinion is biased but my gtr runs so much better with the vipec its not funny . to me thats the key to the vipecs success , lots of after market ecus decreese drivability the vipec increases it.

i have dyno graphs for my car at 240rwhp.. and i only have xzorst and fmic.. and i have better plugs!

so installing the vipec and having a good tune + added boost will only give it 20hp more???

i was sorta hoping for ATLEAST 280rwhp....

I got a vipec with a FMIC, 3" turbo back xorst, POD filter and stock turbo @ 12psi

getting around 226hp but thats because my cat is f**ked and i got an leak in my xorst... probably why im seeing crap mileage too

gonna get that sorted soon and see what difference a hi-flow cat makes....
