You could relocate it into a towed trailer as long as you know what you're doing.

But the real question is why?

You can move it but its not a simple thing to do. You would need to go to a brake place and get them to re-run the hard lines from the ABS to the brakes. You would also need to modify/extend the electrical connections to it too.

If it's weight you're after go the battery definately.

As for placing a breather in the ABS position, Nismo make a kit that is compatible with the 32R (pt# 11830-RSR25)...naturally it's way exe. You could get someone to fab the can and build it yourself for next to nothing

i want to put my catch can there but i want to keep the abs cause if i pass an inspection i will be illegal an i dont want to reput my abs just for that plus its make the engine bay much more cleaner

R32GTR's were available without ABS, in fact none of the N1 (race) versions had ABS. So no ABS is not a rego issue, they don't have to have it.

Cheers

2 of the race cars down in tassie have the abs pump in the rear passenger footwell (behind where the passenger seat is). one is a gts-t and one is a 200sxr. I only have spoken to one, and he said the braked performed just how they should do.

i already know about r32gtr n1 with no abs and its have a very nice look under the hood and i dont know what are your rule in australia but im in quebec, canada and we dont have the right to uninstall any safety device like if you have a 6 point harness you have to keep your oem belt to be legal its f**king shit but its that.. samething for abs also, i want to know if i extend the electrical harness of abs if it can alter the signal because if you put an extra lenght of wire it create some resistance so the voltage of the signal is not the same??? i hear a guy that have relocate its fusebox an some bug appear... he put back a new harness and no problem so is it that?? im ok with the line but its the electrical side that im not sure with... loool sorry for my english im a f**king frenchmen like they say lool

thanks!

Well you would be making the harness shorter as the abs ecu is in the boot, so that shouldn't be a problem. You could even keep it the same lenth, and just wind the excess up in the boot if your that worried about it.

do you enjoy wasting money,

you can move it but its a waste of time spend 600 bucks on a coustom catch can with gold plated rivets and you will still have change compared to moving the abs.

there are plenty of places for catch cans in the engin bay .
