Climate Control Unit Lights

hi guys,

the back lights on the climate control unit dont light up. But if i press

a certain button the green lights up. which is ok !

problem is with the other white lights.

can somebody tell me what could be wrong & how to rectify it please ?

Greets man.

If you remove the CC unit you'll see at the rear of it a bunch of small white round caps with slots. These are the light carriers. You need to give each one a turn to the left with a small screwdriver, then pull them out with a pair of circlip pliers or similar tool.

You will notice that each one has a very small globe with a blue cap. You need to replace these by just undoing the wire tail and threading a replacement into the carrier the same way you took the old one out.

Nissan don't carry the globes, but any good electronics shop will.

When I do them, I replace them with LED's but if you don't know what you're doing with electronics, I would stick to using common incandescent filament globes.
