Stock R33 Gtr Boost Level? 10 Psi Or 12 Psi?

hey all,

can any one please confirm the below, i've been curious!

what is the stock boost level for a 33 gtr? 10 psi or 12 psi?

the mechanic advised that he raised the boost to 12 psi on my car when i had my power fc installed, however the below advises that stock is 12!!? been playing on my mind the last few days.

any info would be appreciated.

R32 GTR's are lighter, so there is less weight to push.

From memory I read this from some where...

R32 GTR = +0.7 (10.9 Psi) Bar Boost (Stock)

R33 GTR = +0.8 (12 Psi) Bar Boost (Stock)

R34 GTR = +0.9 (13 Psi) Bar Boost (Stock)

it does, but i also had a power FC installed! thats when i was advised it was raised to 12 psi.

Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? And how did he increase your boost? He probably just took out your restrictor which gives you ~14psi

hey mate, i have stock gauges.

i think the restrictor had already been removed.

its got a hks electronic boost controller. a bit hesitant to play with the settings though!

definately 0.8 bar (11.8psi) is standard on 32 and 33. Most of them make a little more around 14psi with the restrictor removed and a decent exhaust.
