yeah my chrome fail comment was a little broad

As long as its not a genuine m3, has altezza tail lights but no engine mods and 3 tv's per vehicle occupant, those rims are acceptable..

their those CCW wheels yeah? they look damn good and are pretty cheap too

Last time I priced up a set of CCW classics (when I still have the Celly), I was looking at a little over $6k shipped...

really? on theyre site it says theyre $2500 a set. how much was the shipping?

edit: even if you went the powder coat and arp stud route youd only be adding around $850

Shipping was was an astronomical amount. Somewhere around the $1500 mark. 22lbs a wheel, in customs sizes and specs with upgraded hardware. Though it 'starting at $2500' 3 years ago when I was looking at them.

I am getting so f**king excited about this car and everything it represents. Starting weight of 1180kg for the base model, and 1240kg for the range topper, with the same power as the last locally delivered S15, and all with fuel economy good enough to make it suitable for daily duties... Yeah, I'm pretty keen.

Has been confirmed by Toyota for sale in Australia, and Subaru won't be far behind when they figure out how they're going to market it without their symmetrical all wheel drive safe tag, Tom's and TRD are already looking at warmed up versions, Toyota themselves want owners to modify and personalise theirs. So refreshing.

Non turbo 2.0 litre boxer direct engine with 147kw, STi BRZ may be turbo, 6 speed manual, or 6 speed paddle shifted auto, LSD, rear wheel drive, and all in a 1200kg package.

As for price, Toyota is aiming for the low $30k range.

Yeah according to Speedhunters, they have already released info to the Nippon Aftermarket Committee so manufacturers and tuners can start production of aftermarket parts! New car owners will have the option to change out the suspension and add aero mods on day 1 of ownership!

THIS!!! What a revolution. Best thing a car company has done in a long time.

Cant believe Nissan tried their darndest to exclude the GTR from the aftermarket scene, why not encourage personalisation and stimulate the aftermarket economy!

In short, the car gives me a hard on. Looks wise, not so much, but the potential.... huge.

I'm a big fan of the way they look.

That second photo I posted shows a couple more or less confirmed options for when it goes on sale in North America/Europe, fixed back seats, harnesses, and TRD gauges.

It's something I would never have expected from Toyota, openly embracing the aftermarket. I imagine the options list will be pretty immense by the time it hits dealer floors here.
