You're not alone Carl.

I love the fact that BMW decided their M3's needed an extra 2 cylinders whilst maintaining a high revving engine that's still nimble & responsive.....something that's usually lost when adding cylinders

the most impressed i have ever been by a car was a bmw. I used to marshall for the porsche club, and i got a ride in ex porsche cup driver greg kings (i think that was his name) E96 M3 CSL.

i got pinned in my seat so hard by the launch control, and just about jizzed as he flew around the cones at a motorkhana that was held in the carpark of the old mitsubishi plant at lonsdale...... wish i could go back and do that again

Its pretty damn sweet... I still think a modernised version of the aston marton db5 would still kick ass

or an affordable db40 kit car... so nice..
