Oil Pump ?

hey,

just went out and was going to be nice to my car and give it a service,

get under the car to take out the drain plug, when i noticed oil hanging around OUTSIDE the engine.

got the trusty torch to inspect, noticed a stain and dribble around the first pully on the right, oil pump?

could this be the reason why my turbo feel's really sluggish, in the high rev ? almost like its struggling to make the power ?

havent got a pic cause bad lighting. but the top pulling on the turbo side, is that the oil pump and am i looking at $$$$ to get it fixed.

would it be smart to cruise it up to warrnambool ? 3hour drive sitting around 2,300 rpm most of the way.

i wouldnt drive it... go get it checked by your chosen workshop.

could be a trickle from the cam(no rockers there) cover gasket
