Missfire Almost Gone

hey peeps

got an r32 gtst, fmic , 3"tbe, r34 turbo with r32 actuator, stock boost

after getting my turbo replaced the car seemed to have little amounts of boost and had a missfire at 4000rpm kinda splutters then boosts, since then ive replaced the old coilpacks with new splitfires and replaced my iridiums with NGK .8 gapped plugs drived alot nicer and smoother now....

but

i still have a small missfire problem around 4000 no were near as bad but still there.. could my fuel pump b maxing out? i looked for vac leeks there are no visible ones that ive noticed.. car boosts at 8psi

any help would b great!

Make sure the ignitor has a good ground, the misfire at 4000rpm is pretty common, theres a guide on here if you search about misfires in the 4000-5000rpm ish range.

get yourself a set of copper BCPR7ES and gap them to .75 or .7 and test and report back with results

atm im running the bcpr6es with .8mm gap.. do u rekon the gap needs to be smaller?

also could a blocked cat b causing a missfireish feel?

I agree with Moodles had the same problem gapping down to lower than .7 but still missfired ran new earths to the ignitor still did it, finally changed ignitor for a good second hand jobbie and PRESTO problem fixed. I even changed 4yr old OEM Nissan coils to splitfires just because i couldnt diagnose the problem.

This what happened to me but try what G.T has said that may be solution here for you i hope.
