Rb20det Running Like Crap

hey guys,

I recently got a new shell, I've chucked my old motor in it and its running like crap!

I thought it could have been stail fuel in the tank but I've put new fuel in and its still running on 5 cyl..

I unplugged each injector plug 1 by one to see if I could identity witch cylinder was faulty.. but there was no difference at all..

i then ran my hand over that silver thing on the passanger side strut tower.. im pretty sure its a resistor..

i almost burnt my hand off it was that hot!

its got standard injectors n coil packs.. standard ecu.. any ideas??

it should have got worse on 5 of the cyls if u unplugged each injector

there must be 1 faulty one so if u unplug the wrong cyl = running on 4 cyls

will start up my 32 for ya tmrw and have a feel, but i have suspicions that my resistor pack is dodgy too

but from memory yes its pretty warm - hence the cooling fins on it

Have you tried removing any of the coil packs? If you remove the busted one you won't see any difference but if you remove a good one it'll run shitter....
