More positive feedback from HPX users!

HPX Pads received Greg- fantastic delivery speed!!

Bedded them in last night and i can say i'm VERY impressed. They have more bight and better co efficient than the RB74's i was previously using with better pedal modulation.

QFM HPX Pads Fitted To An Import Legnum VR4!

Got my HPX pads bedded in now and they are very impressive. Progressive and pull up very smoothly, or VERY quick if you really want. They also produce stuff all dust and aren't noisy at all with my slotted rotors either. For the money these are excellent pads and much more confidence inspiring than the crappy pads that were on for compliance.

Another case of QFM A1RM for the win!

The QFM A1RM pads were a huge step up in pedal feel and control-ability...No more dead pedal, locking, ABS interference etc. The HPX pads I know nothing about but heard good things.

IMHO, if your ever doing a track day or maybe just hard driving, A1RM are the way to go...

Hi all,

Just to let everyone know we've now started getting through our first batches of QFM pads to suit Series 2 Stagea Fronts!!! After we sent out the paid pre-orders yesterday, we've not got 1 set of A1RM ($179) and 2 sets of HPX ($119) left. These will go quick, but there is a heap more on the way!

Quick run down on the pads:

HPX: Bendix Ultimate equivalent, very low dust and rotor wear

A1RM: Ferodo DS2500 equivalent, again, with relatively low dust and rotor wear given the performance

To order, just swing me your details, full name, delivery address (preferably a work or business address!!), contact number and email and I can fire you through an invoice with direct deposit details, or else credit card over the phone is also available. Shipping Aus wide is $8.

As usual, any questions, feel free to give us a bell, 1300 884 836, or email sales at gslrallysport dot com

Regards,

Greg

QFM A1RM!

The pads are mostly bedded in and I must say that I am VERY impressed.

Even when I was doing the progressive bedding (60-20, 80-20) they pulled up extremely well.

Very happy, will buy again!

What else can you say?!

I have the A1RM's and these are by far and away the best "serious use" pads I have tried, bar none!!! If you want a high performance or track day pad these are the way to go!!!

In the SRi-T I tried EBC Green, EBC Red's, EBC Yellow's, Pagid, Ferodo DS2500 and the A1RM's win hands down!!!!! They even feel better than the Endless and Project Mu pads I have tried in my other cars...

Low dust, great pedal (the best pedal feel by a long way!), and excellent fade resistance with pedal control...

Highly recommended IMHO...

QFM HPX Fitted To VT V8 Holden Calais!

My Calais was simply unstopable, brakes had no feel, no stopping power, it was no good at all. Then I discovered HPX brake pads. My car feels so much better, the car pulls up really quick with no brake noise and they don't fade at all.

THANKS GSL :yeah:

    • I would paint match the whole thing to avoid unwanted attention  I had a similar bonnet, paint matched, on my old R33 GTST, but mine was a fibreglass jobbie made by Blitz in QLD, they work extremely well for radiator efficiency and under bonnet temps

    • small update time, after always wanting a "cool" looking bonnet for my car and always struggling to find one for the series 2 that i liked and wasn't an insane amount of money. Saw one i liked on RHDjapan from D-speed in Japan the price was very good for a carbon bonnet so good infact i was a little unsure how much i trusted it, decided to bite the bullet and with the help of jesse streeter in not long at all it was at my door. Once it was delivered i ran in from work and quickly unboxed it and to my surprise the quality was actually pretty good i quickly removed the old bonnet and placed on the new one to test it out and even the fitment wasnt too bad at all. Then decided to paint the little grille in the bonnet black to stop it sticking out so much.   I decided to not mess around with the hood latch and just install some aero catch hood pins, having never installed them before did some YouTube university classes and i was good to go. fair to say it is not a fun job at all from making brackets so the pins sit nicely and actually cutting through the bonnet but also being very scared of cutting the holes too big it took wayyyy longer than i would like to admit but finally got it there. Then it was time for a quick test drive to ensure the latches actually worked and thankfully the bonnet looked very stable. I still think paint matching the bonnet and leaving just the part that sticks up as carbon would help make it all look alot neater as im not sure how i feel about all that carbon on a very fridge white car but will leave it as is and see how i feel with time.
    • I think it's bound to happen, you finally get it all perfect, and bam, something will happen. I took a while to get a Commodore rear quarter repaired where a P Plater clipped it. Two days after getting it back, Sarah wiped it out on a concrete pillar in an underground car park... This is why I take forever to repair them, it stretches how long until it gets bent again... 😛
    • Nah, not really responsible for that little fiasco, but I'm still pissed at myself for writing off my 86, or when I reversed my VX into a pole just before selling it, but, meh, 5hit happens to stuff, all it takes is a slight distraction, and life is full of distractions, and "dooh" moments
