any help will be very appreciated, please specify what points you are measuring from, and if possible please include pictures of every possible angle of the block (front, back, top, bottom.etc).

common guys, we need measurements from the following points:

center of crankshaft to top of block

top to bottom of block (front), back to front (top and side) longest points

need lengths of spacing in the cradle (edge to edge-please specify where you measured) need width of cradle journals.

please, any help will be appreciated

I think its a case of no one just having N1 blocks sitting around. :)

Best bet is to just buy one if you need to do anything specific with one

just a bit to expensive for us at the moment mate, could someone just measure up a standard one from the specified points please?

I also would...but I only have the RB26DETT...not N1.

sorry.

would you be able to grab some of the standard block please mate? It seems no one has an N1 block at the moment.

If anyone has an rb26 block for sale near brisbane we will buy one to get measurements.

thanks for the reply's guys.

cheers

On that note, I am guessing a RB26 N1 Block is the size as the Normal RB16 block as it is the same engine, just made from stronger material.

N1 blocks are cast from the same parent material as 05U blocks. The difference is thicker cylinder walls and deck thickness to prevent bores splitting and cracking around the head studs which 05U blocks are prone to.

Thanks for clearing that up!

But size wise it is still the same..?

Sure, can measure it tomorrow if you want. from which points? just length and width of the block itself?
