Swiper the Fox Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 On that note, I am guessing a RB26 N1 Block is the size as the Normal RB16 block as it is the same engine, just made from stronger material. N1 blocks are cast from the same parent material as 05U blocks. The difference is thicker cylinder walls and deck thickness to prevent bores splitting and cracking around the head studs which 05U blocks are prone to.
