Yeah come on Gazelle, you're more than welcome to your own opinion of these cars, but there was and still is a massive public consensus that the AU was the ugliest piece of **** to ever grace Broadmeadows. Ford did something very right with the BA Falcon. VN Commodore was also the most aerodynamic, fastest and best selling Commodore. Not to mention how many VN styling/design cues were retained in later models due to their success and reception from the public. How was it not an improvement on the VL? The only thing the VL had going for it was a relatively bulletproof engine, which in itself was nothing special until the past decade when aftermarket tuners decided the extra displacement and backwards compatability with other Nissan engines/parts gave it a good foundations for the drag strip.

Nice one

:)

Here are some photos I took. Forgot to take my tripod, so had a tough time trying to get some good pics. Basti probably has better pics.

Overall was a very good turn out. Nice to be back in the SAU scene again - and nice to see some new faces :)

i didn't say it was ugly, infact i agree the ba is better looking then a au. but you missed my point.

Not all newer model's are better in EVERY WAY shape and form. my opinions are based on personal experience's, likes and dislikes, and i'm still not going to start a argument on the net so stop trying to push my buttons.
