These are definetly not stock speakers. They are Alpine 6" x 4" 3 ways. Assuming they are not stuffed they should piss all over the factory speakers.

The next step up would to be to make a small baffle and chuck some 6" speakers (splits if you can afford it) for extra mid range and bass.

it would be pretty hard to notice the diferance without sending them more power. speakers can only put out what you give them.

i disagree .. theres alot of difference with other factors .. eg sound deadening ... splits ..etc

When sound deadening is installed the difference is very noticable. Even factory speakers sound better when you transform their home from a tin can into a serious (read; strong and solid) foundation.

ok fhrx .. need to know about sound deadening .. give us hints on what we can do .. from the cheapie stuff ie flashtac, bunnings stuff to the good stuff ie dynomat, or serinity max

i have been told u can buy a sound proofing spray and just spray that on the inside of the trim which is alot cheaper

and use silcon to seal the boot

meh.. they're stock speakers.. out of an R32 i believe.. my ex-gf had the exact same ones in her R32.

Some Skylines have Alpines as a factory option.

I dont thinkthey are stock and if they are you are very lucky to have them in that condition, my stockies were so perished that the cone was not attatched to the foam surround and the colour of the cone was a half grey/brown colour, they were officialy F$%KD.

It was a painful trip bringing my car back from sydney with a dodgy japanese radio, non working cd player and speakers that on max volume were just audible and crackly.
