I Need To Make Something The Exact Same Size... Help?

I have a panel for my voltmeter which broke a while back, figure now is a good time to remake a new one.

I need it to be the exact same size though, i know you can wrap it in cloth and put resin on it, but once you lay thwe fiberghlass on it it's already too big.... any ideas?

need to make a plug from the existing piece, then use that as the mold for your newly created piece.

im pretty sure i put up a how to make a mold link in the first few threads in the fabrication section.
