FAT_3L Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 just a quick q? i did a diagnostic test on my r33. everything came up all ok. but i read the skylines the limit book which said when ur done turn ignition off and put ecu back to normal. now mine has only 2 modes, so 1 light. i turned the ignition off but havent moved the screw yet and dont wanna leave it in diagnostic mode! how do i know when its back to normal?? thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/273730-r33-diagnostic-test/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
PsYLoR Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 I think you just put the screw back to where it was (counter clockwise) then turn the ignition off. Ive forgotten cuz i have a PFC now but i think you..... Turn ignition on, then turn the screw on the ECU clockwise wait a few seconds then turn the screw back (counter clockwise) read the code that it flash's (hopefully 55) then turn ignition off. Everything should be back to normal & ECU is reset. start car to check, then go for a very spirited drive so the ECU can advance timing to suit your driving.
