Mines ECU

Hey all,

Tomorrow I finally get my skyline! It already has a few modifications so I was planning on leaving it as is for a while. However - one of the modifications is a Mines ECU. Now I've done some research on the forums and from what I gather there is no way to tune a mines ecu other than to send it back to mines.

Since the car has been in Oz there has been no mods done to it and so far the only other mods are exhaust, FMIC and pods. But is there any way to be sure that the ecu has been tuned for these mods? Or am I better off just putting a Power FC into it to be safe as I understand also the mines ECU's are set for a higher RON grade fuel than we have?

I dont want to have to spend $$$ unnecessarily but I also dont want to kill the car.

Well the best way is to put it on the dyno see how the air/fuel ratios are running and timing etc..if its fine keep it in thier..depends what mods your gonna do later u probably will be upgrading to a power fc to specifically tune the mods with the ecu.
