So apparently the brake booster in my R32 GTS-t has died. My mechanic informs me that they are 1000+ from Nissan. Furthermore 2nd hand units are generally dodgy because they are left in the elements. A brake specialist has also said he can have alook, but they generally can't be repaired and wont be able to quote me until he's had a look etc etc. Has anyone else had one of these things die? Is there any good solution?

Yeah I found a shop that was willing to inspect it and have a crack at repair/rebuild. Will update with details as it appears these things don't break often and information is a bit thin on them :D.

I do a lot of work with brake's and components, im on the Gold Coast if you want to shoot it down to me one night i can pull it down, inspect and then let you know if it can be repaired, but if you can wait a week and a half i can have it all done in a day if its repairable.
