Raybrig Lights

Ryan D, on my car (series 1 R33 25t), high beam is 55w not 90w. I just went to the garage and checked it. The stock wiring is rated to 55w. Any more and wiring may hold, but theres no guarantee it won't fail and cause a fire.

OK ive done some more research,

it is 55w but they have an output of 90w, if that makes sense, i dont know.

Word of warning, dont use headlights as track lighting when thrashing your mates tarago off road, youll end up having to clutch start, lol.

hey guys i just checked the head lights on my FC since i realised that they where preddy white, and i was pleased 2 c that its a set of RAYBRIG units, so its the hole light set, not just bulbs.

they're preddy good, no tinge of blue in them, just white, i have no specs on them howeva

Are these really that much brighter than say the normal Phillips globes?

I wanted my lights to be brighter and was considering a HID conversion but these seem to be pretty good.

With these Raybrig lights, is upgraded wiring really necessary? The Raybrig site doesnt really say. It only says (As Ryan D said) that they are 55w but have a 90w output.

Normal Philips? Yes, definitely. Philips VisionPlus? Don't know enough to say.
