Today my car hit the rev limiter at 4500rpm and when i looked at the handset on my power FC it said i hit just under 24000rpm it happened like 4 times so i just pulled over and checked the plug was in properly and it was tight and what not and it looked all sweet ,so i went to a mates workshop to grab a second hand one that he had there and on my way there it never happened again. Some time ago i noticed that some times my rev cut does cut in about 400 rpm earlier than its set at too so i adjusted my rev limit 500 rpm higher to stop this happening. My tacho did read abit different to my handset but i got it calibrated so they both read the same not long ago....

Should i just swap the crank angle sensor anyway?Or do u think there is another issue?

cheers

mate not sure if u can do it, but there is a way to put a stock ecu into diagnosis mode and i will spit out if there is an issue with the senor. it is ever easy all u have to do is touch 2 wires together and they will flash on the dash board codes.
