80mm Afm's Gtr Filter Options

Ok, ive got rb20 afm's on my r33 gtr. I used to have an apexi power suction kit to suit these but stupidly i sold them as i was going to install a greddy full intake kit when i rebuilt my car but that was before the price rise... So now im looking to fit some pod filters again and wondering what are the options out there for 80mm afm equipped r33 gtr's

use normal GTST pod filter kits, as they are, like you said, the same diameter AFM

so an 80mm pod filter kit to suit a normal gtst will fit, the same AFM's on your BCNR33

It would be great if its that easy.. have you seen this done?.. There is just the problem of fitting both filters in the small space behind the headlight the big name kits use bends to achieve a good fit..

I could fit 2x 80mm in my car if i wanted...

im just running the Apexi standard GTR setup... all id need to do is remove the retainer bracket and make a bigger one, same should apply to you

I'm confused too, since installing the Z32s the bend pipes wont connect with the AFMs due to size difference, the 80mm bend kits are $900+!!!

thats because the bend pipes are to suit the 65mm diameter AFM and not the 80mm

apparently you can stretch the rubber piping over the 80mm diameter, but be careful it might break?

looks like I will try that and make some adapter plates up to suit the pod filter snorkles I already have.
