ok so my turbo oil seal shat itself.

it took me maybe an hour and a half to rip it off and tear it apart. i found the turbine wheel also has a heap of chips in it... from what, idn, it was a cheap chinese one, maybe they are biodegradable like bin bags.

ive got about 800 bucks to spend on a new turbo. nothing fancy needed. anyone got expeience with the pro boost series of turbo charger?

ive got a 32 with an RB20, i was thinking about theyre gt 28 style turbo...

Cheap turbos are cheap because they are crap, and will cost you in the long run. There is a thread at the moment discussing the fact and really man, you should try to do something else. They aren't worth it.

yep, have figured that out myself in the mean time :blink:

some mug told me they where australian made. thought id do an ask around. i didnt think they where, for that price though.
