Howdy

whats the stock rev cut on an R32 RB20det ?

How far would it be SAFE to raise the rev cut to on an internally standard RB20, but with larger injectors, larger fuel pump, larger turbo, large FMIC, and aftermarket management ?

Cheers

Dave

How accurate do you need the figure to be? Going off my tacho the rev limiter is at about 7800rpm, but my AVCr reads 7500 when i hit recall.

As for how hard you can rev it??? Well if possible id try and stick to the factory limit. If all is in good order then i wouldnt see a problem with bumping it up to 8,000rpm if you have your coolant and oil temps under control. The extra 500rpm may help if you have a larger turbo.

I've got my EMS and a 600hp fuel pump done and also i've got a high flowd T3/T4 with VL exhaust side and stock cooler!! my RSM recorded 8970 RPM!! bit risty but i did it. considerring my turbo kicks in @ 4500 RPM.

Babak.
