The fuel pump I've got is stuffed so I need to replace it, The engine is an RB30/25 thats being built fairly mild for primarily street use and the odd bit of auto cross. I've done some searches and found the 044 mentioned a bit here already.

opinions would be great before I hand over my hard earned cash.

FWIW I already have a 044 for my injected V8 just want the best option for this car.

Sorry I can't give more info about the power I'm chasing but since the build only just starting thats a hard one to sat atm. If I can get 400kw at the crank I'd be happy so a pump to supply that much hp will be fine.

haha, that other thread makes it even harder to make a clear decision. lol

The surge tank idea would be that way I'd go if the stock pump I had wasn't stuffed, I'm not against spending the money to get the right thing but I don't like the idea of spending a heap more than I need to either.

looking at what others have done and the modest power goals I have I think I'll probably go the bosch intank and be happy with that. Lets face it I'll have to have done a lot to the powerplant to make the 044 struggle to keep up.
