Hello guys,

I have a RB20DET with high-flowd T3/T4 with VL exhaust side, 600hp bosch fuel pump, EMS stinger3 ECU, O2 Rush pod, Turbosmart dual stage boost controler. Ok, now the problem or fact is.. wen i rev up the boost kicks in @ 4500 RPM and ends around 600 RPM at 9psi.. Why is that? and also @ 15PSI it hols the boost abit longer, around 6500 RPM...

Guys could you make some comments on this as i am getting furious about this matter and im thinking to go for a Garrett GT30 or GT35 as they are BB....

my hybrid did the same thing, found that the dump pipe was causing the restriction. When the wastegate opened the extra pressure build up caused the boost to drop off. It was a split dump type. I now have the wastegate pipe running to atmo. No more boost drop now. =)
