Thanks to SAU exec's for organising another great track day as we both had a great time. :(

The time we put into car prep paid off with a split hose on the boost controller the only issue for the day and once I found where the hiss was coming from a simple fix.

A big thank you to:

Gary Baxter for his advice on tyre pressures because it made quite a difference to grip levels.

Ando (S13Deviat) for showing me the correct lines and braking points

Chris (evil weevil) for showing Clinton some good lines and braking points – to the point where the old 626 was going quicker that it should have been

We now cannot wait for the next track day and we have renewed enthusiasm to put more effort into proper oil management work on the R33's so they can see more track time. :)

did somebody say oil leak.....

came out to the car this morning to find a nice big puddle of oil under it. :(

not sure what has happened as it was fine at the track all day and coming home. looks like it will be taking a trip to the mechanic to investigate.

but had an awesome day anyway. cant wait for the next one.

Andy did you get my almost big lose on video?

Charles, mate all good!

Im glad you guys liked it and happy that Clinton was out there flogging the arse off the 626!!!

I saw him over the flip flop each lap getting faster and faster!

Well done guys - see you next track day!

John - sucks to hear mate :(

Do you have an oil cooler?

any loose fittings or lines?

I had a loose fitting on my old r33 on the return oil cooler line, was leaking a bit, simple fix, hope its just that mate :)

Sorry to hear John. That thing has been bullet proof through Wakie and OP as well. Hopefully its something small like an oil line or something.

Did any of you see a particulary crazy person in a very pretty black conv doing equally crazy shit in the arvo.

I did,,,I was in the passenger seat and loved all of it. Slight tail out through turn 1 at full song had me laughing my head off.

You are with out a doubt one of the best drivers SAU has mate.

On his behalf I would also like to appoligize to the skyline drivers that we harrased lap after lap,,,I was trying to control him,,,but it doesn't always work.

Neil.

Matt (MBS206) that was me at the flip flop - we knew you had dramas, I waved the yellow flag as you went past to let others know to be careful :(

Its good reading that everyone enjoyed the day!

I was at the bridge and waved the yellow after you past by slowly!

You could hear the knocking quite clearly, I just thought damn, that ain't cool!

Red beemer= cool sounding car

Fear GTR= Couldn't get him, too quick on the straights!

MX5= bonzai!
