Don't know about the front lip and the rear skirt. Look like an imitation as the fit is not good enough for "real" jdm.

Love the grill though :D

Turns out the front bar is made by Pond.

The side skirts are definitely Impul.

Still don't know about the rear bar.

Ok so now what does all that mean?

I took the car for a drive today it ran well

Also took it to my mechanic and put it up on the hoist.

It has taken a hit at some state in the passengers front right just on the wheel...

There are a couple of new bits around the wheel and a little welding that has taken place...

Also the guy hat is selling said he can get the body cleaned up for me... I was wondering is there a way to raise the body kit so I can lower the car or would I just need to scrap the body kit all together... Sorry for the noob question ( never really been into Anything but classic cars...)

Those screen shots you see are from Nissan FAST, which is the program that tells you all about the manufacturer of the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) vehicles and gives you all the part numbers etc.

You just put the Vin# in and it tells you what options were factory fitted to that vehicle.

Lower the car as is, when you break the body kit from scraping on everything just buy another kit on Import Monster :)

My RS is low and the only part I've scratched the f*#ker out of is the front spoiler, you have to be careful on long inclines or short steep ones. That's ok though because I have my heart set on a full Nismo bodykit :D

i cant believe youd get rid of your aero kit for a nismo!!

anyway, jpave, youd be surprised how many cars come into the country from japan that have been repaired (even very well) and the owner never knows. i rekon if the car HAS been repaired well, it all lines up and is mechanically fine, and youre comfortable with the price, then get it anyway.

hmm.

I am starting to see things from your perspective Iain.

Aero kit = OE plastic (can be popped back into shape for minor dents)

Nismo kit = Fibreglass (can be smashed into a nasty shape with the same force that would only dent the plastic)

well, stephen can get the nismo kit and you buy his aero kit! its in perfect nick.

but yeah i prefer plastic over fibreglass. with plastic welding its piss easy to repair. hence why damaged ones still fetch decent prices on the yahoo auctions.

btw, I actually do really like that red.

I know you guys do, you just like to sh!t stir :)

And I honestly didn't know the Nismo kits were fibreglass, that could have changed my mind.

What about the Pond and Dolphin kits, are they plastic or fibreglass?
