Wish I had my car for this! Some nice scenery and views, great roads...We ended up at Lake Mountain because we were held up by some cars passing through town and didn't hear radio chat from the group up in front going to Marysville instead. Oh well I took a nice group photo at the ski resort though to sum up everyone's feeling at the time. LOL :( Thanks to TJ for the ride in his snowmobile and thanks to Wayne for organising and mapping out the cruise.

on the CB to Hamish: "wait for it... take him now, take him NOW!" lol :)

JamesK - "people think i'm asian, but im not really... they just think i look asian" :D

lol the $35 club?

so I checked out my front bumper after the cruise cos it felt a lil loose, and true to form, I've snapped one of the mounts on the fender (not the bumper... huzzah). must've been on one of those dips we hit.

still cant get over how god ur car looks hamish..

i reckon its teh colour

needs more low, and a lot more ducttape holding on the bumper due to ghey parking skills.

Just quickly... ...The dude (I forgot your name, sorry) with the GoPro Camera... ...Can you PM me???... ...I have a quick question before I order one... :)

That's me mate.

We got some good shots through the twisties and as we were coming through lilydale (i think) i managed to get past everyone and get some good shots of everyone.

I'll chop it up after i finish exams, hopefully get some good stuff.

Also Wayne i forgot the name of the place you got your windscreen from, could you PM me or just post it up here... for those who didn't go...there were stones, lots of sone lol, and my windscreen didn't like them, awesome size crack through te glass now, but still a great day.

Can't wait for the next one.

Ashneel - Those photos are great. Your camera actually makes it look like we had cleaned our cars.

Hamish - Apparently my car is not meant to shoot flames out the back says the mechanic. But it happens on FNTF.....

    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
