Hey guys just a quick one, I need to get rid of a king mattress + base (not so decent condition but sleepable) and a lazyboy style chair (comfy as hell but ripped cover from a few places) and a few other things ... whats the best way to do it without doing anything illegal. Would salvation army etc be interested in these things or do I need to find out a local tip or something and sort them out there? cbf selling anything and have to get rid of them asap!

Cheers!

find your local Transfer Station (public tip).

they'll take anything, but they'll charge for certain items. so just have cash ready.

fridge you can take in to a scrap metal place, they'll give you money for it, its a got a copper element at the back.

there ya go.... make money to get rid of some rubbish, pay money to get rid of the other rubbish and it all works out neutral :)

cant i get fined for leaving sh*t out on the nature strip just like that? :P

Fridge to a scrap metal place is a good idea. I just saw an advert of someone wanting a free fridge / couch and mattress on gumtree cuz they've just moved out. waiting to hear back from them (pity they didn't leave a mobile #)
