Down-low Power On 3" Exhaust For R32 Gt-r

Got a quote for a 3" exhaust from liverpool Exhaust ($1200, an extra $900 for the dump pipes).

Firstly, is this a good price?

What power gain should i expect, if any?

Will i sacrifice down-low power if i fit this exhaust?

Will it need to be tuned after the exhaust has been fitted?

exhaust after the turbo won't really affect low down power unlike on a natro car.

what other mods do you have? that will determine both how much power you will gain and whether it would need a tune or not. most likely not need a tune, and low boost levels probably see a gain of 20hp.

I bet a 3" doesnt fit into it after 18months.

Get a 3.5" from the outset, saves you having to change later

1200 is pretty pricey if you ask me. It would have to be a bloody good exhaust at that price.

Considering you can get a brand new jap branded exhaust for around $1000.

If not second hand for $300-600 depending on what it is.

+1 . You can get a Jap Brand cat back exhaust for $800-$1000. Or there's always 2nd hand ones on the forums.
