matcraft would be infringing IP and international copyright laws if they were to place a nismo logo on their mats, so not a very good idea.....

hungryGTR - Any further updates on the Stagea mats? I recommend you post E.O.I in the Stagea section if you need someone to offerup a set as a template.

Im sure there would be a few people interested in this. :D

Sorry to post this up in here but I'm sure there are a few people waiting for their products from you, buddy.

Wheres my stuff??

Hey, so this group buy ends in three months? Does that mean the product will not be delivered till then?

If that's the case I'm certainly in, I'm just a bit strapped for cash at the moment to be spending it on unnecessary things at the moment. Give me a month or two though and I'll have plenty to throw around.

If theres enough numbers at the end of each month (ie 30) he'll send it off each month. Otherwise if there isnt enough interest they will all be sent in one hit when the group buy ends in 3 months.

anychance you can do this? if so put me down for one.

hks-logo-ya.jpg

youll get a heap of buys if you can do brand names like nismo trust and hks

Did you read the last few posts? they can use 'nissan' or 'supra' without issues but HKS or trust/greddy/grex or blitz or nismo could create problems, since they are companies that manufacture aftermarket parts for these cars, they might try and sue matcraft claiming they are selling products with their logo on them without authorisation.

you know how putting HKS on something doubles its value.

just buy the mats, 100 bucks cant go wrong, i gave had some crappy generic ones in my s14 and i couldnt find a new set anywhere.

hopefully ill have mine soon and ill post some pics up so you can all see fitment/quality.

is this GB still running?

Yeah still going on mate, for the whole next 2.5 months.

Hi mate any chance of them making these to suit a HR31 4 door hard top(pillarless)?

Hey mate plug your make and model in at www.matcraft.com.au, if it comes up with your car then yes i can include you, if however you dont find it there than that means they will need someones original mats to make templates and then they can offer them for sale.

hey mate id be pretty keen on gettin some matts seems what i have in my car now are just universal matts that dont fit properly lol

i have a er34 2 door and just wondering if it would be breaking any of them laws if i could get that skyline S logo(in pic) put in the like the far bottom corners of each matt? if not then id be interested in getting some plain ones in that dark grey colour thanks mate

doz- it could be done however they would need more people that wanted the same and then it will also cost slightly extra. If you can gather up some people you know or mates that want the same thing then yeah they can do it but as a once off they cant as it goesnt make financial sense for them with the amount of profit they are making versus the time it take to produce a once off.

Cheers

oh fair enuff mate

yea hopefully a few people mite want that coz it would prolly look a bit better than just the plain skyline on it

how many people u reckon mate would need to want that for them to do it?

I might have some good news for you mate, ill let you know tomorrow as i need sleep now haha

Have made payment, check email for details

Yep just sent you an email back, money has come through :-)

So i have a few updates for people. Firstly for the GTR guys and the concerns about the trans tunnel been larger, they only have the rwd pattern and dont have a 4wd pattern out of a GTR. So its up to you guys what you want to do. I have two possible solutions for you GTR guys. What i could do is get a guys order for rwd skyline mats fast tracked and then he can meet up with someone with a GTR and see how fitment goes. Otherwise they can do it if someone sends their stock dimension mats to them so they can make templates and then they send them back to you.

What to you guys reckon about my solution?

Hey mate good news, they can do the 'S' shape skyline logo if we get enough people. However ive brokered a deal with them about anything custom (so no need to wait for a certain amount of people) and they can do custom stuff for $135 a set if its only on the front mats and $145 if its all 5 mats with $25 postage on top for either one you choose. So let me say that again, no waiting and you can do whatever non standard stuff you fancy with the price been $135 (on 2 mats), $145 (on 5 mats) and $25 postage. Hopefully that helps you guys get what you want and can customise them a bit.

Cheers

oh that would be really good mate

yea im only really keen havin the imprints on the front anyways

so would that be 160 all up including postage?

and when do u reckon i could order them?

thanks heaps mate

Yeah mate you can order them when ever you have cash, so $160. Just email me exactly how your want your order done and all specs and ill put you on my order form. It might be possible later down the track that i might be able to refund you $30 if we get enough people wanting the 'S' shape skyline logo as they wont have to do a custom order and rather just do a batch run. Hope your happy with that mate :D

oh thats alrite, um if i order em now do i get em soonish or wait the to group buy is finnished?

coz if its not till the end of the buy ill wait and order em with tax time money lol

thanks heaps for all ur help mate

hi mate, im interested in purchasing r32 mates with Skyline writting on all 5 mats.

Im new to group buy so im not to sure how things work out here.

cheers

    • Stock RB fuel pressure is near enough 43.5 psi, so the latency in that table at 31.6 will be close. You can see that 7 or 8 psi equates to about 0.4µs extra latency. So if you wanted to interpolate between the 31.6 and 39.9 psi values you could say you're going up about 2 psi out of those 8, so add about 0.1µs, which is barely worth talking about and is quite possibly wrong because ideally you would fix the latency while running at the appropriate conditions on the dyno, with a wideband sniffing its butt.
    • The pressure, is what you set the fuel pressure to. If you have the factory fuel reg, you'll need to find the factory spec. I don't know it off the top of my head, but someone else might.
    • For others, what GTSBoy states here should be paid attention. Why? Well lots of people play with different engines, and they LOVE to change things like remove AC, or steering pumps etc, and it lends to them needing to move the tensioner too. You want your tensioner, particularly those that are sprung or hydraulically tensioned, to be the first thing after the harmonic balancer, or technically the "last" pulley in the chain. By saying last pulley, I mean look at the direction the crank spins when the engine is running, follow the belt from where the crank is pulling the belt FROM, and keep following that until you're between the last pulley/accessory on the belt and about to reach the crank again, this is the spot where you put the tensioner. This is the area that will always end up with slack. This is worked out exactly the same way for chains too, as the physics is the same for them. The crank pulley is where all the force to drag the belt around comes from. You will never ever get rid of the slack that appears, especially under load. The tensioners job is to keep the belt loose enough when stationary that there shouldn't be out of sync movement in slow movement, and then be tight enough when running, that the belt can't jump off any gear and get damaged. Too tight, bad things happen, too loose, bad things happen. Have a tensioner (mainly sprung/hydraulic one) in the wrong spot, it can't actually do anything about keeping the tension.
