Bmw M5 Togue Drift

Recommended Posts

The E39 M5 was/is a masterpiece of engineering. The entire front & rear suspension, brake calipers and wheels are made out of aluminium + lightweight chassis. Firmer springs and dampers were introduced. Rear axle control arms are also aluminium.

For drifting, the driver would have switched the "ASC+T" & the "DSC III" into off position. In the current-day 5s, I believe you'd have to get to the fuse box to do that - but I stand corrected.

Across the board, the Sept 02 - Aug 03 E39s came 6th best car worldwide in the 2005 JD Power / What Car Survey of 23,000 cars with a Satisfaction Score of 84.3% (UK)
