If this is the case, then this could be very interesting. LPG is still much cheaper. I would consider one of the new VE models once they start selling the LPG option.

Liquid injection is being done but even vapour injection is still young in terms of being adopted by the market (people usually only go for vapour when they are forced to, because many new cars, particularly V8, require it). So far the only people going for liquid injection are performance enthusiasts with curiosity and a spare few grand. One of my oil customers completed an installation recently on a relatively unmodified, LS1 powered HSV and yielded an extra 30-40kw at the treads from the conversion.

i went the VSI on my R34, if i was to do it again i would deffinitly go liquid injection as there is alot less problems with gas converters and injector flow.
