Spoiler Paint

Hey all,

I want to buy this GTR spoiler off ebay

They say they can paint it for me, but they want to charge me $226 just for painting it. So all up thats like $450 or something. Could go for it, but i wanted to see if there would be a cheaper option first?

So does anyone know where i could get it painted for cheaper, or could anyone do it for me, name your price.

$226 is a reasonable price. But they can't possibly match the paint perfectly with your car. And I would be worried about the quality of the paint/work, and it getting scratched/damaged on it's way over. If it's a shit job, you can't exactly take it back to them easily.

I'd say get it done over here. Ring around Panel shops for quotes

You might need to wait until you get it so you can take it in for a quote as well.

PaYbAcK bought one of these for his 32, absolute crap quality. The adjustable wing doesn't sit very well and wobbles all over the place. It wobbled that much that it ripped off going down the Tonkin Highway at 100km/h.

He's had to spend a fair bit of time modifying it to work properly.

Speaking from experience, don't do it.

That is bad quality for China but I guess Via Japan must mean it is better workmanship............. I had a look and other people have picked them up for $50 to $55 US (link) but shipping is $120 AUS and it takes 3 weeks.

The gauge pod image attached shows how good their work is when you look closely, as people in the detailed feed back say "You get what you pay for".
